Add some classic Holiday flair to a wall near you with this wonderful project from Jodi Nelson of Pleasant Home! This is a quick and easy project you can have ready in time for Christmas, good for any level of quilter. Be sure to check out her alternate style in pastels in the tutorial article! More from Jodi:
"My Mom made this many moons ago. I think she sold them at Bazaar's. Did ya Mom? Not sure where she got the pattern either? But lucky me, I "inherited" it when Mom and Dad retired a few years back. I have always loved this tree. The "vintage" fabrics are oh so cute!
"Imagine my surprise when I went shopping at my friend Sheri's and discovered she had some of the very same prints! I knew I had to make my own. Here is a close up of the Traditional Red and Green one that I made. I chose to quilt mine and use buttons. I also put a binding on it. {binding on a Christmas tree shape = grrrrr.} ;o) "
