Free Tutorial - Star Sampler Quilt by Amy Smart

Squares and HST's and trimmings, oh my! Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter is a prolific and creative quilt designer, and was asked to be part of Riley Blake's Meet the Makers event. This Star Sampler quilt is the result of her project, isn't it gorgeous? She provides individual tutorials for you on all five of the main blocks in the design, as well as for the Irish Chain setting block that ties everything together so nicely. More from Amy:

"Right before I left for England, I finished piecing my Meet the Maker sampler quilt and got it to my quilter. I’m so excited to share the finished quilt and share with you how to make your own sampler quilt!

"This quilt is made up of five different star block designs and one repeating setting block. I have links to instructions for all six quilt blocks below. I love the way the red Irish Chain blocks create a repeat design that sets off all of the other pieced blocks!"

Skill Level: Intermediate

Finished Size: 64" x 84" (163cm x 213cm)
