"We made this with left over bonus triangles from this quilt, Sneaker Treads, that was featured in Quilty magazine (editor's note: Jo provides a photo of the Sneaker Treads quilt in the article linked below). Working with leftovers can sometimes create a challenge. We had triangles that could match but we didn’t have enough left over fabric from the project to ensure that all the blocks would have matching center square. That’s when I said to Kelli why don’t we make the backgrounds look scrappy?? ...and so our blocks ended up looking like this." (see photo to the right)
