FREE Pattern - Migration Quilt by Kristy Daum
What a beautiful quilt! We love the motion and the 'power' of the design. Be sure to click on the image to see more detail; the text in the fabric prints goes very well with this project. This quilt was created by Kristy Daum of St. Louis Folk Victorian, and she made it for Windham Fabrics. Be sure to check out her free tutorials, she has a lot of other great projects! More from Kristy:
"There are two more patterns that I created for Windham Fabrics and realized today that I have forgotten to share with you, so let's do this shall we. MIGRATION was created using the Logos & Sew Hopeful Collections from Whistler Studios. I'm a huge fan of text prints, so these collections were a lot of fun to work with.
"I knew almost immediately that I wanted to play with Flying Geese and use big blocks to allow the prints to shine. After playing around with different arrangements, I changed my perspective and put them on-point; which is exactly what this quilt needed."
Finished Size: 64" x 64" (163cm x 163cm)
