Free Tutorial - Color Play Canyon Quilt by Sherri Noel

We don't see as many hand quilted projects these days, but we have one today. Sherri did a beautiful job with her hand quilting and gave us a great tutorial so we can try it out. She also does a great job of suggesting specific tools that she likes best.

This tutorial specifically teaches hand quilting. You can get the tutorial for the actual quilt here.

Sherri says,

"I’m excited to show you this Canyon Quilt design I made for Moda. It’s a large scrappy orange peel quilt."

"The needle I used for this quilt is from Clover. This is my first go with this needle and I really like it. The eye accommodated the perle cotton, and with a little finessing, I could thread the needle without my threader. It’s very sharp, and it just felt like a good fit for my hand… not too small or too big. I think its a keeper!"

Finished Size: 56" x 78" (142cm x 198cm)
