We're off to the gentle rolling hills of Ireland, and the gorgeous Killarney National Park! The 2016 theme for the Mystery Block of the Month is My Secret Garden, and Pat will be taking us on a whirlwind tour of some amazing gardens from all around! For February, we journey with her and a lucky group of quilters to the historically rich and breathtakingly beautiful Killarney National Park!
March: Japanese Tea Garden
Our hearts are soaring this month, because Pat decided to visit one of our favorite things in the world, Japanese Gardens! Like the world-famous one in Portland, Oregon that has inspired so many of us, Pat explores the harmony and idealized beauty of these horticultural works of art, and her inspiration truly shines in this month's block! Click below to download the pattern now!
April: Keukenhof Garden, Holland
Time to take a look at the garden that was beautiful enough to inspire this entire project, the amazing tulip garden in Keukenhof, Netherlands! This month's pair of blocks are inspired by majestic windmills, vibrantly colorful tulips, and the flowing hills of this gorgeous garden. Pat tells us all about it, and includes a video tutorial for the block to demonstrate her techniques. Take a look!
May: Hershey Garden, Hershey PA
For this month's block, Pat takes us to Hershey Garden in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Although Hershey is known mostly for it's chocolate, it also has beautiful gardens that inspired Pat to create this month's beautiful block. Between the roses, gazebos, fountains, and courtyards, this garden is both beautiful and well laid out.
